It was rumoured this last spring that there was to be an auction of the cars before the closure of the yard, but I've never heard it substantiated. Word has it that Jerry Turner's son was going to take over the yard from his father, but was killed in a sprint car accident a year or so ago, and Jerry, being in his eighties, wants to retire.
